Standing 12 inches tall, Steve Rogers is sturdy and powerful as the war veteran bent on bringing justice to humanity by helping defeat the malicious Ultron.

He looks just like actor Chris Evans with his new, helmeted head sculpt. A magnetic Captain America shield with retractable handles is the figurative icing on the cake. And as a bonus, this will prep your excitement for Captain America: Ciivil War, too!

Captain America: The Winter Soldier 1/6-scale Falcon from Hot Toys

Last year’s cinematic hit Captain America: The Winter Soldier drew upon the superhero escapades of one of Marvel Comics’ most lauded figures. And along with protagonist Captain America and Black Widow, Falcon collaborates to shed light on a S.H.I.E.L.D. conspiracy and dodge the jabs of an enigmatic assassin known as the Winter Soldier. Also known as mainstream comics’ first African-American superhero, it’s clear that Falcon is incredibly important to the Captain America and Marvel narratives.

We’re proud to present this Sixth Scale Falcon, who stands 12 inches tall and is crafted according to the on-screen appearance of actor Anthony Mackie. Highlights include a finely detailed costume, an LED light-up flight backpack, his signature mechanical wings, weapons and a figure stand created for flight poses. Don’t miss the chance to own one of Captain America’s most crucial allies.

(We’ve also got the Movie Masterpiece Captain America and Steve Rogers set, as well as the Sixth Scale Stealth S.T.R.I.K.E. Captain America — check them out!)

Every great superhero needs an equally heroic ally, and Falcon's that guy.

Marvel announces film release schedule through 2020

Everybody! Get ready — Marvel has announced their movie lineup for the next six years. And it looks positively awesome. Although we can’t help but mention the fact that a little over a week ago, DC made a similar announcement, making this an amusing sort of comic-book titans catch-up game. Well, hey. We’ve all got to make a living, right? And when keeping up with the Joneses means staying on the toes of a major entertainment franchise… okay, now we digress. We’ll let this gif explain it all:

vPpzxgI

But anyways, back to what’s important — the Marvel Cinematic Universe announced 15 titles that will be released in the next six years. Whew! These will include Captain America: Civil War (May 2016), Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (May 2017 — new date), Thor: Ragnarok (July 2017), Black Panther (November 2017), Avengers: Infinity War Part I (May 2018), Captain Marvel (July 2018), Inhumans (November 2018) and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 (May 2019).

Would it be irrational to pre-pop the unlimited bags of popcorn we’ll inevitably consume during all of these movies?

(Psst — you can also check out Newsarama’s nifty, chronologically ordered list of all the superhero films coming out from now until 2020 here. Awesome.)

Robert Downey, Jr. is on the verge of signing on to Captain America 3

Tony Stark’s Iron Man could very well be set to play a key role in bringing the Civil War storyline from Marvel’s comic books to the big screen — and trigger the start of a new phase of movies from Marvel Studios.

The actor is in final negotiations to play the billionaire in the yet-to-be-titled third installment, which is slated to begin production in the spring for a May 6, 2016, release, according to sources close to the discussions. Downey suits up as the superhero in next summer’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron as part of a previous deal that also calls for him to reprise his role in The Avengers 3.
